While a group of friends and I were watching a news broadcast on CNN referencing possible weapons of Mass Destruction in the Middle East, someone said “My great fear is the weapon of mass destruction currently living in the White House". 

I said “Hold on, a Weapon of Mass Solution is on the way.  If we don’t sleep on this - if we understand as a people (American people) that we must work hard to make sure we have a serious weapon to combat some of our destruction - then change is possible.  This weapon is fueled by the first slave ship which arrived in America in 1638, by Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Booker T. Washington, Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jr. and so many more.  For change, each and every one of us must keep fueling this weapon. Together we can do this, YES WE CAN”.

Our discussion went on for hours, and then someone said “Phyllis, this is a quilt”... and so it is.
